Rita Rusterholz

I am married and a mother of two grown children. With 10 years of professional experience in education and leading a private playgroup, my qualifications are extensive:
- IG Playgroup Course (2014)
- Training as a specialist in early german language development (2017-2019)
- "Burzelbaum"-course with refresher, focusing on movement and healthy eating
For me, free play is the best form of learning. Children learn to share, communicate, and resolve conflicts independently.
I find balance in my family and cats, gardening, cycling, and photography.

As a mother of three and a certified playgroup leader, i've been working with Rita Rusterholz at the Füxli playgroup for eight years. Before that, I gained experience as a kindergarten assistant.
It's important to me that children are active, eat healthily, and are allowed to be creative—my "Burzelbaum" certificate reflects this. Crafting, painting, and experiencing nature are part of our daily routine. I'm also a certified dog trainer and know that every living being learns best with joy and trust.
What do I love about my work? The children's honesty, their enthusiasm, and being able to accompany them on part of their journey to kindergarten.
"Help me to do it myself"—that's the principle i live by.

what we offer

Spielgruppen are a valuable educational program in early childhood. Through the interaction with others, children develop their social, emotional, cognitive, physical and mental abilities. learn to integrate themselves into a community and to become more independent at an early stage.

With us, your child is allowed to:

• resolve conflicts, argue and make peace again

• stand up for oneself, be considerate, help one another and listen to one another

• accept each other's strengths and weaknesses

With the help of a wide variety of toys, crafting supplies, costumes and more, children can let their imaginations run wild and explore their interests. We tailor our activities to the children’s individual developmental stages.

Whenever the group constellation allows it and depending on the weather, we head to the nearby playground or go for a walk.

Having completed the two-year course “early language development – focus on german”, we provide children with targeted instruction in the german language.

As parents, you can benefit from being able to discuss questions or concerns you may have about your children’s upbringing or development. Last but not least, our childcare services offer you a chance to take a breather from what can often be a challenging daily routine.
